Get ready for the summer!
With a very heavy heart up for sale is our beloved 1972 Crossover T2 Bay Campervan, it was purchased many years ago and was a South African import so very dry and right hand drive, it has had no welding and had completely original paintwork in white.
We enjoyed and drove it for a few years then decided to get it restored, it has had a bare metal respray outside in Mouse Grey and Pastel White with no new panels fitted so all are original, we have had it slightly lowered front and rear and empi five chrome alloy wheels fitted, along with VW Heritage two bar roof rack front and three bar roof rack rear, whilst on our journeys the engine decided to give up and we had a Vege 1600 engine fitted 3000 miles ago along with twin 34 webers (to get us up the hills here)!
The interior is as we bought it, there is a bench seat rear with plenty of storage and also rear facing buddy seats again with storage, they are all lipped and the table can be put between to make a double bed the interior is completely sound proofed and beano door cards fitted with a wood effect floor, curtains have been fitted all round and new mad matz seat covers fitted to the front, there is also an alpine stereo fitted and the dash and steering wheel restored and colour coded.
