Very unique Westy camper with amazing history. Sold new in Zurich Switzerland (have original sales invoice) through European delivery plan and toured Europe and North Africa before being shipped to the USA. This Camper has every factory option available and then some. Excellent interior, dash, new canvas pop top, new windshield and gasket. It has many very unique period features, including full complement of VDO instruments, (tach, amps, temp and oil pressure) period Hella headlights and rare Carrallo driving lights. In addition; there are Quickor HD sway bars at the front and rear, gas shocks, twin weber carbs, factory gas heater, remote external oil cooler and canister oil filter system, new brakes and a nice extractor exhaust system. There is also a Heathkit cabin battery system and power inverter circa 1973. The body is very straight with a few small dings and minor spots of rust. Paint is very presentable. 1972 is first year for more powerful 1700cc engine. The clutch is excellent as is the transmission. All in all this is one well cared for, super nice and very unique classic VW Campmobile.
