This bus was given the factory designation as Type 2 also called Dakota or Kombi, informally as the Bus on the US, Camper in the UK. This van was first time introduced in 1950 product by Volkswagen automaker German and its second car model after Volkswagen's first model (the Type 1, Beetle).
