Preserved Heritage: The Timeless Elegance of the 1958 Volkswagen Single Cab

Nestled within the archives of automotive history lies a remarkable artifact: the 1958 Volkswagen Single Cab. With its unassuming yet sturdy presence, this vehicle stands as a testament to enduring craftsmanship and timeless design. Located in Covina, California, USA, this Single Cab emerges from the past with an aura of authenticity, beckoning enthusiasts and collectors alike to marvel at its pristine condition.

Constructed in the illustrious year of 1958, this Volkswagen T1 Single Cab remains a paragon of originality, boasting a mere 50,000 miles on its odometer. Clad in the iconic Dove Blue hue, it exudes an understated elegance that transcends the passage of time. From its well-preserved paint to the intact wood bed strips, every detail speaks volumes about its storied past and meticulous care.

Year 1958
Type T1
Model Single Cab
Color Dove Blue
Engine 1.5 L 31-38kW B4
Assembly Line Original and Very Good
Condition Good

It features original Dove Blue paint throughout, 50,000 original miles, the original 36hp engine which runs very well as you'd imagine, a nice original canvas canopy, and is bone stock and original down to the original wood bed strips.

The body is in excellent original condition, super dry, very straight, and only has some minor flaws especially when you consider the age and nature of what Single Cabs served as over the years. The interior is in equally as incredible and preserved a original state.

Mechanically it is in good and fully operational condition having covered just 50,000 miles over the last 55 years. That works out to an average of just over 900 miles of use per year! Pretty incredible to say the least. All of the running gear is correct, stock, and original including the 1192cc 36hp engine, split case transaxle, and of course the still 6 volt electrical system.

Just for Seriously Bus enthusiast (originality more than anything). No question bring with proud. Thanks!
