ARCHIVES / SOLDYear of construction 1970. Volkswagen T2A Walk Through Camper for Sale in Arizona, USA. This is a Beautiful Early Bay Window Bus on Very Good condition. Complete with freshly rebuilt original 1600cc up to 1776cc engine. Good for your a daily driver car. "Driving Mode" gives you the front seats, back seat for 2, and the rear-facing jumpseat. Transports 5 comfortably. "Camping Mode" includes the fold-out back seat which turns into a double bed, the "crows nest" cot, and the pole hammock which hangs over the front seats (see pics). Will sleep 4 easily. Overall this nice Campmobile already 75% restored.

MOTOR:
1600 long block rebuilt and stepped up to a 1776. About 1,200 miles on it. Even more power increase all but assured if you outfit motor w/upgraded carburetor or duals. Have received compliments from mechanics on motor on how well built and balanced it is. Original 4-speed tranny. Passed AZ Emissions in February 2013.
SUSPENSION:
Wouldn't say rebuilt, but would say "refreshed." New shocks, new brakes, new tires. Steering recently tightened.
EXTERIOR:
Paint is 3 years old w/a few scratches. Minor surface rust on the floor pans, and two rust-through spots -- 1 behind each front tire -- easily fixed. All new rubber and seals for the front doors included, but not installed yet.
INTERIOR:
New upholstery and canvas throughout. All other interior stuff including floor and carpeting rebuilt from scratch and is about 90% done. Louvered side windows work fine. In-Dash Stereo installed, but power not hooked up to it yet, and speakers not installed yet, either.
