The engine looks dry and clean on the bay without any words about mechanical issues. Overall is still in good condition for its age. If you're interested, a closer inspection is a must.

Up for sale is my 1967 Dormobile. I have only had this a few months and it was meant to be a camper for the family but I found an early Bay Westy that will work out better for me so I decided to sell. It was not anticipated that after searching so long for a split camper that I would be selling so quick but that is the way things go sometimes. This has been a Northern CA car its whole life and has been owned by two long time Samba members over the past 10 years. Both very knowledgeable in buses and have kept this one going while keeping the patina that was added over the years. Hoping to pass onto someone that will do the same. It is a super cool bus. This is an original Westfalia SO42 bus that from what I am told had the Dormobile conversion top done sometime in the 1970’s. The bus was originally a solid Velvet Green color and the upper portion was repainted many years ago alone with the addition of the deluxe trim. Original safari windows were added subsequently. It is currently running a strong 1835cc that runs perfect and pulls. The bus is a fantastic driver and is comfortable. It has a lot of patina outside and the interior is in good shape but shows signs of use. The top is in excellent condition and functions great. Completely solid bus with very little rust. Most rust repairs were already completed. Comes with rear rack also. Just have it off. Front drivers kick panel off also just need to put back on as shown in the pictures. Clean CA title in my name and currently registered. Happy to answer any questions I can on this bus. There are hardly if any other split Dormobiles out there for sale so it is hard to price. Based on what I have seen this is where I am at. The bus is located in San Francisco and happy to assist with shipping. May consider an early Beetle or another bus (non camper) as partial trade or something else of equal trade. Not looking to trade up.
