Year of construction 1960. VW double cab / doka located in Wien, Austria on good condition, Color Dove Blue, doka is probably unique in Europe. It has an original patina and is as good as stainless steel (except stainless flight on the body - which was deliberately kept to maintain the originality). Import from the USA in 2004 from the original owner.

  • Entire electrical system and new, converted to 12V
  • All technology and modified NEW: 4 "shortened VA of T2d with CSP and Ventilated disc brakes gelcht, modified HA tag on the IRS Bugbox including CSP disc brake, long translated Rancho gearbox, original Randar alloy wheels, new steering gear
  • Radio with CD player.

But the beauty goes far beyond the surface. Pop the hood to discover a pumped-up 1914cc Type 1 engine, breathing fire through dual Weber 44 IDF carburetors and a full flow oil cooler. This setup, expertly tuned with an external oil cooler and thermostatically controlled fan, is rumored on the bench to deliver a whopping 120 horsepower!

Worried about keeping this beast under control? Fear not! The entire electrical system has been converted to a modern 12V setup for reliable starts. The chassis features a complete overhaul, boasting shortened axles from a T2d with CSP components, ventilated disc brakes all around, and a modified rear suspension with IRS Bugbox and CSP disc brakes. A long-ratio Rancho gearbox keeps the revs low on the highway, while the classic Randar alloy wheels and new steering gear ensure a comfortable and confident ride.

To top it all off, a modern radio with CD player lets you enjoy your tunes while cruising in style.
