Legitimate daily driver 15 consecutive years. Drives, handles, accelerates and brakes far superior to any stock bus. 100+mph easy. Only the best running gear parts including Genuine VW, Gene Berg, Porsche 911/996/944, Setrab, Mallory, Optima, Holley, Earl, Pagid, ATE, VDubEngineering, Steve Tims customs heads, K&N, genuine Fuchs, Brembo, Weber, Addco, Bilstein, Recaro and so on. $25k in engine, trans, suspension, brakes and wheels plus 100's of hours of labor and tuning.
This is my own personal vehicle. It has been reliable and a joy to drive since 2003. This bus is perfect for taking the dogs to the beach, camping, hauling lumber, packing in the longboards or driving to work 7 days a week. Having owned several restored vintage VW's and Porsche's over the years, I just wanted something to just get in an go anywhere without worrying about it being pristine or perfect. It has its share of battle wounds, scars, dents, patches and character.This is a true driver that can realistically be driven in modern traffic. Turnkey ready today, not months or years from now. Original paint under 2 layers. Very rare color combination. Numbers from vin plate, m-codes, engine compartment stamp and all birth certificate documents from Germany's Stiftung AutoMuseum Volkswagen match. Comes with a clean California Title. I have purposely blocked the vin# in the photos to prevent fraud as there are a lot people making fake 21 window buses.
